Volunteers Needed: Gravatt Work Weekend |
Come one, come all - on Saturday, May 26
Gravatt needs anyone who can spare a few
hours to join us for a work day to
complete last-minute tasks to make sure
camp is ready for campers. We don't
care what your skill level is - if you
don't mind a little sweat, WE
NEED YOU! Please email
Lauri, if you can help out on this
day.
Volunteers should arrive between noon
and 1, having already eaten lunch. We
hope to get a lot done with many hands
in about five hours. We'll provide
snack breaks and complete the day with
dinner.

Gravatt In the News

Camp Gravatt is being recognized in
Palmetto Parent Magazine as one
of South Carolina's best residential
camps. The staff is honored to receive
this recognition - and it means so much
to us that parents of our campers did
the voting. Staff members will attend
an awards ceremony at the Edventure
Museum at the end of the month.
Gravatt's Adventure and Discovery Center
has also been in the news. GADC was
mentioned recently in an article in the
Augusta
Star Journal about a Girl Scout
group who completed the ropes course.

Staff and Volunteer Reunion. Plans are
in their infancy, and we are so grateful
to Christine Tibshrany Koutrakos, who
has agreed to chair this event.
